Certification
Validating your knowledge
Once you have completed this 4-week intermediate French course, you will sit a final exam to validate your knowledge and earn a certificate.
To obtain the course certificate you must:
- Complete all the lessons of the 4-week course
- Submit the four written assignments, which will be corrected by your tutor
- Obtain a score of at least 80% in the final exam. If you do not achieve a sufficient score, it is possible to retake the exam (free of charge).
Once you have successfully passed the final exam, you will receive your certificate in PDF format by email. You can then add it to your CV and your online professional profiles.

To learn intermediate level French, you must have some basic notions in French. This course is not designed for complete beginners. You must be familiar with the basic verbs in French and know how to conjugate them in the present tense. You must also be capable of introducing yourself and know some basic French vocabulary (numbers, colours, days of the week, directions, etc.). You should have a proficiency level equivalent to CEFR level A1.
But don’t worry, this course is progressive. The first lessons are easier to break you in gently. The pace is tailored to intermediate learners and will allow you to familiarise yourself with the language without feeling lost.
No, this course is only available in French, with French subtitles. It is an immersion course. This is the most effective way of making fast progress and reaching intermediate level in French. But don’t worry, every effort is made to facilitate comprehension in a progressive manner.

Les exercices du cours sont bons. J’aimerais voir plus d’exercices de ce genre. Pour moi, c’est une façon de briser les règles grammaticales.
Ce que j’aime moins, c’est que certains exercices concernent presque la lecture d’un texte en général, plus que la pratique de la langue française. Par exemple, des questions telles que: Quand part le train ? Qui a écrit la lettre ? Quelque fois j’ai eu l’impression d’aller à l’école primaire.
Mais c’est une toute petite remarque. Mon évaluation globale est que le cours a été très bon. Ça me manquera.

I had subscribed to Anne’s videos for some time before enrolling in the online intermediate French course. There are, of course, many online language teachers and courses, but I liked very much her clear and detailed explanations in the videos, and wanted to experience a complete programme of study at the intermediate level. I was not disappointed. This course is very well put together: lots of material, well put together, and logically presented. Students are also encouraged to ask questions, to which all of mine received a detailed response the same day as I remember (I also learned many things from the answers to the questions of other students). The e-books made available for study at the end of each week’s lessons were an excellent tool for review, and I also appreciated the personal and, again, detailed responses to the weekly written assignments.
If you are interested in a serious but enthusiastic approach to learning French, I would highly recommend this course to you. Cinq étoiles ! Merci beaucoup Anne.

This is my third course with Anne and it is as engaging and interesting as the previous courses. It has a nice mix of lectures, exercises in the form of quizzes, listening and writing exercises. There are occasional „homeworks“, which are corrected promptly with useful grammar tips and explanations. I love the E-books at the end of each week‘s lectures that cover the entire material taught that week and are wonderful for reviewing and deepening one‘s understanding. I also like the way Anne answers students‘ questions: in detail, with additional examples and explanations tailored to the student‘s needs. The course is extraordinarily well designed, taught with great enthusiasm and expertise, and supported by regular feedback. I highly recommend this course to anyone interested in learning the French language.

Le “Programme de français intermédiaire” est un cours complet. Par une variété des méthodes d’enseignement, ce cours offre des leçons sur la grammaire et le vocabulaire, à l’orale et à l’écrite, en adressant les différents registres de la langue. J’ai surtout trouvé les phrases types très utiles pour m’aider à mettre en pratique la matière du cours. D’ailleurs, Anne est toujours disponible pour répondre aux questions, adresser les problèmes, et offrir de l’encouragement. Je compte refaire le cours pour mieux apprendre la matière, puis, suivre le cours avancé.
